You can practice whenever you want
No need to stick to a particular timetable, you can practice every day and at any time of the day. You may realize you feel better if you do some yoga soon after waking up or before going to bed. One day you may do a restorative sequence, the next day it can be a power yoga practice
It's you who decides what to wear, what music to listen to and what atmosphere to create
You can wear your favorite yoga outfit, turn on your favorite music and light up some candles. Or you can stay in your pajamas, and listen to no music at all. When you are practicing at home, it’s all up to yo
No temptation to compare yourself to anyone
When you are in a yoga studio, it's hard to shut off the outer world and not to compare yourself with other students. During your yoga practice, you learn to respect your body and to forgive yourself for not being perfect (no one is). But if at the moment you find it hard to practice in a room full of other people, try doing yoga alone at home
It's all about you
When you are practicing in the comfort of your own home, you can fully concentrate on yourself: what your body is feeling, how you are breathing, what thoughts cross your mind. Increased self-awareness will benefit not just your yoga practice, but also your life in general
We don't encourage you to give up studio yoga classes completely. After all, doing yoga in the studio also has its benefits: well-equipped rooms with mirrors and props, an experienced instructor to help you with alignment and to inspire you, the community of like-minded people to support you. Would be interesting to know your opinion on the subject
. What do you choose?: yoga studio or home practice. Or maybe both
